Responsible for creating highly efficient and effective hardware and software for product compliance testing and defect detection. Responsibilities:Co-develop automated product testing systems in a team environment in close collaboration with product developers and manufacturing test engineersDevelop optimized hardware configurations for compliance testing and defect detectionBuild test scripts, data acquisition modules and GUI interfaces executing at the highest efficiency for optimum capital utilizationAssist with product characterization, design validation, and production yield improvement activitiesLeverage platforms in place and add new capabilities in a highly structured approach Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science with 8+ years relevant industry or a master’s degree in engineering or computer science with 6+ years relevant industry experienceStrong background in optical device testingExperience and proficiency in coding in Python, C++ and C# including multi-threaded software and GUI developmentExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skillsExperience with firmware/microcoding preferredExperience with motion control and vision systems preferredExperience in relational database interfaces such as Oracle preferredExperience in statistical analysis techniques, JMP software, and process control preferredCompensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is USD 109,700.00 To USD 175,500.00As a valued member of our team, you'll be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and the opportunity to receive not only a competitive new hire equity grant, but also annual equity awards, connecting your success directly to the company's growth.
