Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) | Nights Location: Mission Hospital, Asheville, NC Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Every other weekend Unit Highlights: 44-bed Progressive Care Unit 4:1 patient ratio (up to 5:1 when needed) EMR: Cerner Float to Step-Down and Med-Surg units Required: Active RN License BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Neuro and Trauma care experience Responsibilities: Neuro/spinal assessments Chest tube and PCA pump management IV infusions Lumbar drains Feeding tubes Blood transfusions Equipment: IV pumps, SkyLift, patient lifts, chest tubes, trach care equipment.
