Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Psychiatry Wellness Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and developing tailored treatment plans for couples and families, focusing primarily on their specific dynamics.
\n
• Providing therapy sessions for both couples together and for individuals separately, to address and resolve a range of interpersonal and emotional issues.
\n
• Facilitating family therapy that may involve topics such as alcohol abuse, conflicts among family members, grief and loss, and adjustment issues related to separation and divorce.
\n
• Utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities and interventions, ensuring evidence-based practices to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
\n
• Documenting all patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with compliance standards, using the latest digital tools to facilitate communication and record-keeping.
\n
• Maintaining ongoing communication with other healthcare providers and support staff to foster a truly multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clinical expertise will be directed towards a varied patient population, including adults, children, and adolescents. You will deal with complex issues ranging from family conflict resolution, blended family dynamics, traumatic experiences, and various medical stressors. The ability to empathize and build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds is essential. We emphasize providing culturally competent care that meets the unique needs of each family.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Massachusetts.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
