Accounts Payable Coordinator

Accounts Payable CoordinatorTradewind Aviation is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join a dynamic Finance team in our Middlebury, Connecticut Corporate office. This candidate is expected to process, track, and accurately record payable transactions while adhering to our policies and procedures. This individual should have very strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, solve problems and be comfortable interacting with the team with respect to their expertise. This role will report to the Sr. Accounting Manager.Essential DutiesRoute all bills for appropriate approval based on company policies & proceduresEnter payables into RAMP to review coding and posting entity prior to approvalAccurately set up new vendors according to policy including proper maintenance of W-9s and verbal verification of banking informationCoordinate with vendors and internal approversPrepare approved payments as requestedDaily review of Emburse, our expense management software including review of expense reports, managing inquires, and training new usersManage the ordering and cancellation of corporate credit card & aircraft fleet cardsVerify fuel & landing charges against scheduling system including weekly and monthly data sheetsReconcile weekly fuel cards and monthly corporate cardsCoordinate mail delivery with HeadquartersAbility to provide positive, team-oriented collaboration and customer service with all internal and external stakeholders, project partners, and business users.Other duties as assignedQualificationsPrior relevant course work & internshipExceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to adhere to tight deadlines and manage prioritiesDemonstrated ability to learn a new systemMust be self-driven, detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational skills including time-management and prioritization.Must possess strong communication skills to interact with leadership and various departmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsUnderstand and adhere to internal controlsPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerBe able to lift 15 lbs. of weightTradewind Aviation OffersComprehensive health and voluntary insurance plansRetirement plan with company matchPaid time offStandby travel on select Tradewind Aviation scheduled flightsDiscounted standby travel benefits on numerous major and regional US and international airlinesA rewarding career path with opportunities for growth and advancement throughout the organization
