This position is located at the Stockton Field Office in Stockton.
Under general direction of the manager in a Grade IV field office, with minimal day-to-day supervision, the Licensing-Registration Examiner performs the most difficult and sensitive work in an environment which routinely requires a calm, courteous, and tactful approach in providing customer service. The incumbent interacts respectfully and effectively with supervisors, peers, other departmental employees, and supporting agencies, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office. The amount of time performing certain tasks may vary based on the needs of the office. All eligible applicants may apply. A training and development assignment may be considered. SROA/Surplus candidates are encouraged to apply.The position(s) being advertised may be subject to allocation approval by the Human Resources Branch. Fingerprint/Criminal Record Clearance is required before hire. The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. This position is Intermittent. Scheduled work hours will vary and subject to a maximum of 1500 hours per fiscal year. The 1500-hour maximum may be exceeded subject to approval due to changes in workload. Work outside in varying temperature. Work week may vary.
