Accountant Contract Role We are currently seeking an Accountant for a contract role with one of our clients based in Phoenix, AZ. Duration: 06+ Months Contract Pay Range: $23 - $25/Hr. Location: Hybrid / Phoenix, AZ Job Description Accounting Specialist (Contractor) supporting high-volume AP operations, focused on invoice processing and supplier account maintenance. Role is designed to support transaction accuracy, reconciliation, and research in a fast-paced accounting environment. Responsibilities Process high-volume invoices with strong attention to accuracy and coding requirements. Perform supplier statement reconciliations and discrepancy research. Maintain and validate financial data and documentation within ERP systems. Investigate and resolve invoice or payment issues in coordination with internal teams and vendors. Support data entry, reporting, and accounting workflow coordination across systems. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Experience with high-volume invoice processing and accounts payable workflows. Strong attention to detail with ability to manage accuracy-critical financial data. Experience with supplier statement reconciliation and issue research.
