Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with block scheduling. Weekend coverage required (6 shifts per 6-week period). Patient ratio 1:2.

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical ICU with 16 beds and average daily census of 14 patients
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and phlebotomy
• Epic charting system with 12 hours of orientation provided
• Work with advanced equipment including CRRT (NXXT Stage) and manage complex critical care patients
• 91-day assignment with one pre-approved time off period available

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 2-3 patient ratios preferred
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, titrating vasoactive drips, arterial line management, and blood product administration
• Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
