The Board of Education of the Middlesex County Magnet Schools is currently seeking applications to fill the position of High School Assistant Principal for the 2026-2027 school year.

The Board of Education of the Middlesex County Magnet Schools is currently seeking applications to fill the position of High School Assistant Principal for the 2026-2027 school year.
This will be a twelve month tenure trach position.
Qualifications:
- Must possess or qualify for a valid NJ Instructional Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility, with endorsement as a Principal (#0200)
- Prior successful experience as a high school administrator is preferred.
- Knowledge of best practices, project-based learning, and critical thinking skills.
- Commitment to creative teaching methods and infusing technology into the curriculum.
- Demonstrates knowledge and application of data analysis to measure student performance.
- Knowledge of best practices concerning instruction and behavior management.
- Demonstrates confidence and efficiency in evaluating staff and providing meaningful feedback.
- Exhibits strong interpersonal skills for communicating and connecting with students, staff, administrators, parents, and the community.
- Maintains high standards of student conduct and enforces discipline as necessary, in accordance with the student handbook and board policy.
- Demonstrates excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
