Assistant Dean – School of Information Located at Pratt Manhattan Center on West 14th Street, the School of Information’s vision is to reimagine information and technology to design more equitable, resilient and diverse futures. With approximately 400 graduate students from around the country and the globe, the school is distinguished in its focus on arts, culture and technology and its intersection with the information field. Offering Master’s programs in Library and Information Science, Museums and Digital Culture, Information Experience Design, and Data Analytics and Visualization, the School of Information seeks an Assistant Dean to help fulfill the School’s vision, mission, and goals. Application Deadline: January 26, 2026 Responsibilities Report directly to the Dean of the School of Information and provide strategic leadership for the school’s critical functions. Lead admissions, including recruitment, selection, and enrollment of prospective students. Develop and oversee part‑time faculty recruitment and development, ensuring alignment with programmatic needs. Coordinate the course schedule, including program sequencing, resource allocation, and accreditation requirements. Support student success initiatives, working with faculty and staff to address academic and professional development needs. Collaborate with the Dean, faculty, and staff to advance the Institute and the broader School mission.
