Home Care Assistant
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to clients in Van Buren Township, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities to enhance their comfort, independence, and well-being in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervision.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure client safety and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy towards clients.
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes in Van Buren Township, MI.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
