Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional or instructional aide, preferably in a school setting
- Ability to foster a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with students, teachers, and staff
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs in a classroom environment
- Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or coursework in education or special education are a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in the implementation of lesson plans and individualized educational programs
- Support students with varying needs through academic guidance, behavioral support, and encouragement
- Facilitate communication between teachers, students, and families as needed
- Monitor and document student progress, challenges, and achievements
- Foster a safe and engaging environment conducive to learning and growth
- Help prepare and organize instructional materials and classroom resources
- Supervise students during non-classroom activities such as recess or field trips
