Medical Director
CareMore Health, a Mosaic Health company
Job Description Morgan Consulting Resources, Inc. has been retained to conduct the search for a Medical Director with CareMore Health. This position will work on-site at the West Tucson Care Center, located at 4821 N. Stone Ave., Tucson, AZ 85704. About the Organization:
CareMore Health, a Mosaic Health company, is a leading innovator in value-based primary care. We are redefining how healthcare is delivered by combining clinical excellence with technology, data-driven insights, and a patient-centered approach. As part of Mosaic Health, we are committed to transforming care delivery through scalable solutions that improve outcomes and experiences for patients, providers, and communities. Our compassionate providers deliver highly integrated, personalized care with exceptional clinical outcomes proven to lower the cost of care and specialize in managing complex and chronically ill patients, providing life-changing care wherever they are - in the home, virtually, in our Care Centers, mobile units, and at skilled nursing facilities. Mosaic Health serves as the national platform integrating CareMore Health and other affiliated provider organizations under a unified mission: expanding access to comprehensive, value-based primary and specialty care. Together, Mosaic Health entities provide care across 19 states through both employed and network providers, serving nearly one million members and supporting multi-payer contracts across Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and Commercial lines of business. About the Position:
The Medical Director provides physician leadership, clinical strategy and clinical oversight for an assigned market, clinic, or defined population within CareMore's value-based care model. This role is responsible for driving quality outcomes, supporting provider performance, and ensuring clinically appropriate, cost-effective care delivery for Medicare, Medicaid, and other risk-based populations.
The Medical Director partners closely with operational leaders, care management, utilization management, and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, reduce avoidable utilization, and advance population health strategies. This role serves as the physician leader for day-to-day clinical operations and performance within the assigned area and acts as a key partner in delivering CareMore's proactive, high-touch model of care. CareMore's model is specifically designed around high-risk, chronically ill populations and has historically demonstrated lower admissions and reduced total cost of care compared with traditional Medicare. This role also delivers direct internal medicine services to patients in CareMore clinics and on occasion may extend to ancillary facilities in addition to managing provider/clinical staff.
