Key Highlights Weekly pay range: $3,001–$3,239 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Assignment duration: 14 weeks Shift: 10-hour days Start date: 10/05/2026 Work setting: hospital-based hematology/oncology clinic with infusion suite Responsibilities Triage patient calls and in-clinic visits; assess symptoms, review results, and document findings in the electronic medical record; notify the physician of critical values as needed Administer prescribed therapies, injections, and manage infusion pumps; perform port access, IV starts, and lab draws Conduct in-office procedures and tests ordered by the provider (e.g., EKGs, PFTs); assist with bone marrow procedures and other surgical or procedural support as directed Perform Nurse Only visits for patients who do not require a physician or NP (BP checks, immunizations, injections, education) Review and triage laboratory and imaging results; communicate information to the medical team and coordinate appropriate follow-up or referrals, including home care when indicated Document information provided to patients during triage and maintain accurate records across applicable electronic health record systems Requirements Minimum 2+ years of experience in hematology/oncology, infusion, and triage, including port access, IV starts, and lab draws Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Chemo certification required Oncologic Nursing Certification (ONC) preferred Experience in a busy hematology/oncology clinic with an infusion suite; ability to perform in-office procedures as ordered Proficiency with electronic medical records and thorough patient documentation Benefits and Support Weekly pay range: $3,001–$3,239 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Assignment duration: 14 weeks Shift: 10-hour days Travel recruiter support during the assignment Support with documentation, triage, and coordination of patient care PAY DISCLAIMER RULE Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
