Job Description
Emergency Room RN - Short Term Acute Care

Schedule
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Assignment Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements
- Years of Experience: Usually 3 years required; may consider 2-3 years with Level I trauma center experience
- Travel Experience: Required, first-time travelers not accepted
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS (BCLS)
- EMR: Experience with EPIC preferred
- Skills: Management and interpretation of dysrhythmias, STEMI/stroke care, care of ventilated patients, central/arterial line management, blood product administration, procedural sedation, triage; behavioral health experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, including managing acute medical needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment processes and health management

- Parking: $15/day or $70/month
