Utilizing state-of-the-art teletherapy technology, our therapists conduct sessions comfortably from their own homes, ensuring access to therapeutic services for clients across different demographics.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, assessments, and crisis interventions to effectively support clients in distress.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, developing tailored therapeutic plans that address the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Determine appropriate levels of care and coordinate services for patients, including collaborating with Reentry Social Workers for discharge planning.
\n
• Complete required statistical reports and documentation to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and contribute to patient care records.
\n
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and treatment planning sessions to ensure an integrated approach to mental health care.
\n
• Supervise social work interns or student volunteers, providing guidance and mentorship to develop future mental health professionals.
\n
• Engage in clinical supervision with a Clinical Supervisor at least once a week to foster professional growth and address any clinical challenges.
\n
• Participate actively in mental health and medical rounds as assigned to holistically address patient needs within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Selfcare Space, you will primarily work with a diverse client population, including adolescents and families, offering them the tools to navigate life’s challenges. Your role will involve creating safe spaces for clients to explore personal and relational issues while striving to improve their overall mental health outcomes. Understanding and respecting cultural differences is essential, as we serve a multicultural community that enriches our therapeutic practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current California licensure or eligibility for licensure as a therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

• Strong clinical skills with the capability to establish rapport and trust with clients across various backgrounds.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

• A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical practices in therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
