School hours run from 8:15am to 3:15pm, with occasional extended time to attend meetings or complete student documentation as needed.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Department of Education certification (DOE)
• IVP fingerprint clearance card
• NPI (National Provider Identifier) number
• Completion of or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• Experience working in school settings is highly valued
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students for speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy and consultation services within the school setting
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to best support student progress
• Attend team meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary planning, and maintain up-to-date student records
• Ensure compliance with school, state, and federal documentation and reporting requirements
