Test Technician 3 - 2nd Shift

Job Summary Test Technician – Onsite, 2nd shift, Forest, MS.Responsible for performing a wide variety of technical tasks in support of processes, engineering, quality control, calibration, laboratories, production/test environment, line maintenance, and/or chemical handling. Responsibilities Test, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install electronic, electro‑mechanical, and mechanical systems and equipment. Observe, analyze, and report test data; perform necessary repairs to equipment. Work from approved procedures, schematics, and drawings. Isolate problems between the test environment and the units under test and resolve as needed. Validate correctness of procedures; select, set up, and operate engineering and scientific equipment. Generate comprehensive failure entries correlating failure modes to test specifications. Interpret test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters) to determine pass/fail and decide when further analysis is needed. Work independently to complete production/acceptance test and achieve production goals. Perform lifting, walking, and stair/ladder climbing at the test range(s) as required. Qualifications High school diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2‑year post‑high‑school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Experience testing electronic circuits and/or identifying failure trends. Required: U.S. citizenship (to obtain DoD Secret security clearance). Preferred: Experience with RF communications or power systems; experience evaluating RF systems and subsystems (transmitter, receiver, antenna, signal/data processor, power supply).
