Development Strategist- Tidewater

The Tidewater Jewish Foundation is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Development Strategist to help shape and grow our multi-generational endowment and planned giving efforts. This role blends strategy, storytelling, and relationship-building to engage donors, community partners, and future philanthropists. You’ll work closely with the CEO and leadership team to drive initiatives like LIFE & LEGACY, Jewish Future Pledge, and teen philanthropy, helping secure the long-term financial sustainability of our community. What You’ll Do: Build and steward relationships with donors, prospects, and affiliated agencies Lead and support planned giving and endowment development initiatives Deliver compelling presentations and facilitate meaningful donor conversations Use CRM data to track progress, inform strategy, and guide outreach Support marketing campaigns and communications to donors, boards, and advisors Strategically leverage leadership (CEO, Board) in donor cultivation efforts Collaborate with leadership on new development initiatives and priorities What We’re Looking For Required: 2+ years of experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, financial planning, community relations, or related field Preferred: Nonprofit or foundation experience Salesforce or CRM experience Key Skills: Strong relationship-building and communication skills Confident presenter and storyteller Self-starter with strong initiative and accountability Ability to manage projects from planning through execution Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively Willingness to attend occasional evening events How to Apply Please submit your resume, cover letter, and salary requirements to: View email address on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr The Jewish Federations of North America
