REMOTE Member Services Representative- Minnesota Resident Only

Government Membership Services supports all of Company members who are enrolled in a government funded insurance plan: Medicare, Medicaid and Marketplace services (MNsure).

- Reps take between 50-70 calls/day (8-10/hour) from members who have questions regarding their current insurance plan.

- Questions often are regarding coverage, copayments, premium billing, network, premiums, deductibles, etc.

- They will allow people to work remotely after a day or so of training, but all candidates MUST be able to go work in the office at a moments notice.

Last time call center experience was not a hard requirement, but a long customer service history was needed to make up for it and we would like to keep with that same idea. The same goes with experience in the health care industry- while it is strongly preferred it is not exactly required as long as they have other outstanding skills. Critical thinking and the ability to think dialectically are key skills, as is the ability to ask questions. Empathy and a desire to help is always an important skill, and it is fair to say that some experience in Customer Service is a requirement.

They must have an ethernet internet connection and a private work area to be able to work from home.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
