Food Runner

We are hiring Runners to join our team to provide an exceptional guest experience. Job duties include:

• Delivering food orders from the kitchen to tables rapidly and accurately
• Acting as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
• Communicating food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities (e.g. food allergies)
• Explaining the food to guests as you deliver it
• Being knowledgeable about the food in order to answer any questions the guest may have
• Maintaining a calm and friendly attitude at all times
• Assisting in bussing tables and clearing plates when needed
• Must be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently; and exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Skills:

• Ability to develop positive working relationships with all restaurant personnel
• Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and employees
• ServSafe and Allergens Certificate required
• BASSET certification required

Our menu is inspired by the diverse sub-cultures, culinary techniques and ingredients found across India married with fresh local ingredients.

Compensation: Hourly ($15.00) plus tips
