Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active CCC-SLP certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Delaware
• Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to tailor therapy and interventions for students from diverse backgrounds and educational needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings/assessments for students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in coordination with educational staff and families
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports as required
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student learning plans
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for teachers, parents, and support staff on communication disorders and supports
• Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines
