Step into a vital school-based role supporting students’ communication and language needs on a flexible contract basis. This position serves learners at either the elementary or middle school level—your preference shapes your assignment. Responsibilities will begin at 4 hours per week, increasing after September as school-year needs grow. You’ll focus on delivering speech-language services, collaborating closely with staff and families to maximize student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language assessments, direct therapy, and consultation for a diverse caseload
• Serve one school site, ensuring continuity and relationship-building with students and staff
• Collaborate with IEP teams, contribute to meetings, and document service delivery per school guidelines
• Utilize the district’s IEP system (full training provided) and conduct sessions in a dedicated therapy space
• Engage in indirect/administrative tasks needed to support students’ educational goals
• Choose to work with elementary or middle school students depending on your background and interests

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active SLP license and CCC certification required
• Previous school-based or teletherapy SLP experience strongly preferred
• Ability to build rapport with children, school staff, and parents
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable adapting to a hybrid workload/caseload model
• Must meet local credentialing requirements, including fingerprint clearance
