Job Summary


Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant responsible for performing clinical and administrative tasks to assist physicians with patient care. The role involves managing patient information, organizing patient flow, and ensuring clinical services effectively benefit patients.


Key Responsibilities

• Check schedules, prepare charts, and organize patient flow.
• Collect patient history, chart in EMR, and relay information.
• Check vital signs and take EKGs.
• Set up equipment and maintain exam room cleanliness.
• Assist with minor procedures and collect POC tests and specimens.
• Manage medical records and obtain lab results.
• Propose medication renewals and ensure timely review of patient results.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and support care coordination.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain EHR compliance.
• Respond to clinical emergencies within MA scope.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education activities.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant.

Qualifications

• Certificate preferred.

Skills

• Proficient in handling EMR and performing clinical procedures.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
