Overview
Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech (Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Tech) – Travel assignment in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Start date: 08/24/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,995 to $2,118 per week. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including echocardiography, following physician orders and imaging protocols.
- Operate ultrasound equipment, optimize image quality, and document preliminary findings.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, ensure patient safety, and monitor for adverse events during exams.
- Maintain imaging records, process and label images, and communicate findings to physicians as appropriate.
- Collaborate with cardiology and radiology teams to support interpretation and comprehensive patient care.
- Follow quality control, safety, infection control, and equipment maintenance procedures to ensure exam integrity.

Requirements
- Certification: RDCS and RVT required; alternative credentials may be considered in accordance with ARDMS/CCI guidelines, including RCS or RCCS from CCI or ACS from CCI, with one of RVT/RVS/RS as additional credential.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience within the cardiac/echo specialty.
- BLS certification.
- Active credentialing in echocardiography as described above.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and meet travel assignment requirements; no local candidates within 50 miles will be considered.
