Pharmacy Technician - COVID-19 Vaccination 3 Months Contract (Based on the need it may/may not Extend) Baton Rouge, LA Job Description Covid-19 Vaccination Support Client has a powerful purpose helping people on their path to better health. One of these initiatives includes administering the COVID 19 vaccine at clinic sites. PPE is provided. We are looking for PT's who perform PT duties and/or support duties at COVID-19 immunization sites throughout their assigned region. Follow all CDC guidelines surrounding immunization administration in both clinical settings and outdoor drive‑through settings. Perform COVID-19 testing duties at testing sites and off‑site testing events throughout the city. Ensure the provision of care according to program policies and standing orders, and local, state, and federal regulations. Network with and refer to community resources appropriate to client's needs. Document and maintain individual electronic client records; educate and counsel clients, families, and the community in health promotion and disease prevention. Interview/counsel clients and conduct screenings and assessments. Travel to outlying areas in the city, possibly outside of normal business hours. Qualifications Strong experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
