Your Role in the Lab

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical lab analyses in areas such as chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, following established guidelines.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, mentor new staff or students, and uphold the highest quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with prepared ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be obtained within your first year.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
