Administrative Coordinator

$24 - $26 per hour

Role Overview Verdantas is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to provide essential administrative and organizational support to our team in the Holden, MA office. The role ensures daily operations run smoothly and supports staff, visitors, and leadership with professionalism and attention to detail. Responsibilities Oversee daily office operations, including maintaining supplies, managing correspondence, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, including phone calls, emails, and visitor interactions. Maintain a well‑organized and fully supplied office environment. Manage fleet maintenance and logistics effectively. Coordinate resources (team members, equipment, materials) and format deliverables for projects. Organize important documents, contracts, and project files. Assist supervisors and department leaders with onboarding of new hires—coordinate gifts, orientation lunch, workspace setup, introduction to office layout and colleagues, and a welcome announcement. Manage the process of sending and receiving certified mail for important project‑related documents and track receipts for record‑keeping. Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations. Maintain accurate records and filing systems. Assist in planning and executing company events, meetings, and projects. Deliver excellent customer service to clients, vendors, and employees, resolving inquiries promptly. Travel to the Easton, MA, Pawtucket, RI, and Manchester, MA offices as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1+ year of relevant administrative, office support, or customer service experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn additional tools and systems quickly. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional interaction style with colleagues, clients, and external partners. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation, scheduling, and administrative support tasks. Strong organizational skills, managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining an organized work environment. Experience supporting or coordinating events, meetings, or visits for internal teams and guests. Professional, collaborative demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional internal and external customer service. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times. Salary and Benefits Salary Range: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour.
