Automotive Service ConsultantWe are seeking a highly motivated Automotive Service Consultant to join our team at Classic Kia of Smithfield. As an Automotive Service Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our service department.ResponsibilitiesAssist customers with scheduling appointments and provide recommendations for necessary automotive servicesAct as a liaison between customers and the service technicians to ensure accurate communication and timely completion of service requestsPrepare and present service estimates to customers, including detailed explanations of recommended repairs and associated costsHandle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous mannerMaintain accurate and thorough records of customer interactions and service historyCoordinate with parts department to ensure timely and accurate ordering of necessary parts for repairsStay up-to-date with current automotive technology and industry trendsRequirementsPrior experience in the automotive service industry is preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelyExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesProficient computer skillsValid driver's licenseClassic Kia Smithfield offers competitive compensation ranging from $50,000 to $80,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
