Bilingual Dutch (Netherlands) AI Safety Generalist

Role Overview

Help improve the safety of advanced AI systems by applying Dutch language expertise and cultural judgment to sensitive topics as they are understood in the Netherlands. You will evaluate and strengthen model responses in Netherlands Dutch, with training provided on the required workflow, so prior AI or machine learning experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Use language fluency and cultural judgment to assess and improve how AI models handle sensitive subjects in Netherlands Dutch.
• Create expert-level prompts in Netherlands Dutch across a range of sensitive subject areas.
• Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
• Identify adversarial wording and escalation patterns, and document the reasoning behind each judgment.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Dutch as spoken in the Netherlands, with business-level written English.
• Currently based in the Netherlands. This position focuses specifically on the Netherlands variety of Dutch; Belgian Dutch is covered separately.
• Bachelor''s degree completed or currently in progress.
• Strong written reasoning skills and close attention to detail.
• Sound judgment when working with sensitive and dual-use information.

Preferred Experience

• Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming written or technical content.
• Background in trust and safety, content moderation, policy evaluation, or adversarial testing.

Work Terms

• Hourly engagement based in the Netherlands.
• Immediate start date.

Compensation

48 to 52 per hour.
