Quality Control Technician – Ocala, FL (Onsite)
Pay: $23.94/hour + $1.50/hour shift differential (after training)
Contract: 6 Months
Location: Ocala, FL
Schedule: Training: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (up to 3 weeks) | After training: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule
We're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to support manufacturing operations by performing quality inspections, measurements, and process checks to ensure products meet specifications.
What We're Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of related manufacturing or quality experience
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
- Strong visual inspection skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read measurements, perform basic math, and record inspection data
- Understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and collaborating with production teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final quality inspections
- Measure and weigh raw materials and finished products
- Use gauges, templates, and measuring tools to verify product specifications
- Identify and troubleshoot quality issues with production operators
- Record daily quality measurements and document rejected materials
- Provide backup support to production as needed
