Desktop Support TechnicianOverview

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite technical support to end users in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent customer service skills, and experience supporting desktop hardware, software, and operating systems. The ideal candidate is a IT support specialist who can effectively resolve technical issues while maintaining a positive user experience.

• Provide onsite desktop support for end users.
• Install, configure, deploy, and maintain computer hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, operating system, and application-related issues.
• Perform hardware repairs and component replacements as needed.
• Document, track, and manage incidents through a ticket management system.
• Support user account administration and basic system access requests.
• Assist with workstation imaging, deployments, and upgrades.
• Provide technical assistance via in-person, phone, and remote support channels.
• Perform basic network connectivity troubleshooting.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with desktop hardware and software installation, configuration, and support.
• Knowledge of Windows-based operating systems and desktop environments.
• Experience using an IT ticketing or service management platform.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and end-user issues efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and connectivity troubleshooting.

• Experience supporting enterprise desktop environments.
• Familiarity with user account administration and workstation deployment processes.
• Experience providing phone, remote, and onsite technical support.

• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn.
• Junior-level candidates with strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.

Intermediate Level (Entry-level candidates with strong technical aptitude and customer service skills may also be considered.)

This is a Contract position based out of Frankfort, KY.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Frankfort,KY.
