CLIENT SERVICES SPECIALIST (FULL TIME)

Location : The FruitGuys - 901 Sneath Lane, Suite 210, San Bruno, CA 94066. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule : Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Additional Job Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure accurate order execution: School orders, account updates, price sheets, menus, budgets, and delivery details are complete, accurate, and entered by established deadlines. Provide reliable customer experience: Schools receive proactive, professional communication; questions and issues are acknowledged promptly, owned through resolution, and followed up on consistently. Facilitate successful program onboarding: New and returning schools are fully set up before service begins, including system records, delivery information, invoicing requirements, welcome materials, and digital resources. Maintain strong school relationships: Assigned accounts experience consistent outreach, practical support, and thoughtful recommendations that strengthen retention and participation in school programs. Demonstrate effective cross-functional coordination: Operations, Sales, Accounting, Nutrition Education, Marketing, and other partners receive clear, timely information needed to meet customer commitments. Provide support to School Program Director: The School Program Director receives dependable support with reporting, RFPs, conferences, special projects, schedules, and follow-through on program priorities. Collaborate with Marketing: Customer-facing emails, promotions, special offers, and digital materials are accurate, on brand, approved when required, and delivered on schedule. Strive for continuous improvement: Troubleshoot issues by effectively identifying, documenting, addressing, and resolving through practical process improvements that increase accuracy, efficiency, and service quality. Job Summary Job Summary Job Summary: Our Account Coordinators support our Client Managers with program projects, client initiatives, and escalated service calls, while juggling multiple accounts and priorities. Key Responsibilities: Audit vending, micromarkets, and office coffee in field operations Manage the auditing program in our operations and report out monthly Communicate the client’s expectations to operations and customer service Determine internal resource requirements of projects based on project needs Establish and communicate a usable schedule Provide project status summary reports and updates to Client Managers and other team members Support activities for Client Manager’s clients, such as: Service issues, product ordering, adding catalog items, ongoing client requests and questions, etc. Manage assigned lower-volume clients and build client relationships Run reports to verify information and proper system setup Validate catalog maintenance and service levels Occasional troubleshooting/tech support of vending / micro-markets Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is strongly preferred, and a Bachelors’ degree preferred Six months of equivalent advanced customer service experience is required - one year is strongly preferred; with a high school diploma, three years of equivalent advanced customer service experience is required Excellent interpersonal communication skills are required with a proven ability to develop and maintain positive internal and external work relationships Timeliness and accuracy with the ability to prioritize and organize business requirements and workload Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint Local to the North Seattle / Everett area; covering Tacoma to Everett Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience required - not just data entry - i.e. calculations, VLookup We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with a criminal history (including relevant driving history), in a manner consistent with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, and the New York Fair Chance Act.
