Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

License and Certification

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Education

• RN-Associates Degree or

• RN-Bachelors Degree or

• RN-Diploma or

• RN-Masters Degree

Emergency Department (ED ) Sentara CarePlex Hospital Emergency Department is focused on providing exceptional emergency service to patients. The Emergency Department consists of 43 beds including 11 fast-track beds for patients with shorter lengths of stay. Emergency physicians are board-certified. All emergency nurses undergo specialized training in emergency care and have received Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric certifications.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials on-call pay overtime shift premiums extra-shift incentives or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications experience location market conditions and business needs.
