You’ll work with customers and technical teams to understand complex manufacturing challenges, identify where our technology can improve a process, and turn those ideas into trials, projects, and long-term business.Why You Should ApplyOwn business development across the U.S. and CanadaIntroduce niche process technology into diverse and emerging marketsWork directly with scientists, engineers, and technical decision-makersCreate opportunities from the ground up rather than simply manage an existing book of businessHelp customers improve processes, reduce costs, and evaluate new manufacturing approachesHigh-visibility role combining technical problem-solving, application development, and consultative salesWhat You’ll Be DoingResearch and identify new customers, markets, and technical applications for process technologyEngage scientists, engineers, and decision-makers to understand their processes and uncover opportunities for improvementDevelop new business across markets including nutrition, food, nutraceuticals, specialty chemicals, battery materials, ingredients, enzymes, proteins, and probioticsBuild relationships and lead prospects through a consultative, application-driven sales processCoordinate customer product trials with technical teams and facilities in Germany, using successful trials to develop larger commercial projectsBuild the business case and demonstrate potential process efficiencies, cost savings, and ROIDevelop proposals and quotations in partnership with technical teamsCreate opportunities that may lead to capital equipment sales or contract manufacturing projectsRepresent the company at relevant industry events and trade showsTravel approximately 50%+ throughout the U.S. and Canada, with occasional international travelAbout YouBS in Engineering; Chemical Engineering preferred, or Mechanical Engineering with relevant chemical/process industry experienceApproximately 6–10+ years of relevant technical sales, business development, application development, or process-industry experienceExperience with consultative, solution-based, or concept selling and the ability to develop new opportunities rather than simply sell established productsCapital equipment or process-equipment sales experience is a strong plus, but not required for someone with the right technical and application-development backgroundExperience in nutrition, food, nutraceuticals, specialty chemicals, battery/advanced materials, ingredients, enzymes, proteins, probiotics, or related industries is highly relevantTechnically credible and comfortable communicating with scientists, engineers, and other technical stakeholdersCurious, resourceful, and able to quickly learn new industries and applicationsSelf-motivated and comfortable working independently across a large territoryWilling and able to travel extensively; convenient access to a major airport strongly preferredValid driver’s license and passportHow To ApplyWe’d love to see your resume, but we don’t need it to have a conversation.
