Machine Operator – Steel Processing
Friedman Industries is hiring dependable, safety-focused Machine Operators to support steel processing operations. What You'll Do- Safely operate steel processing cuttolength equipment.
- Read production paperwork and verify product specifications.
- Measure material using tape measures and micrometers.
- Maintain accurate production, inventory, and quality records.
- Communicate equipment, safety, or quality concerns promptly.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and aligned with safety standards. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Manufacturing or steel processing experience preferred.
- Basic math skills, computer skills, and ability to read a tape measure and micrometer.
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and on flexible shifts with overtime as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for an entire shift.
