Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Active state licensure to practice as an SLP in North Carolina, or eligibility to obtain
• Experience working in a school environment is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Organizational abilities to manage a caseload across multiple sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for K-12 students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct and consultative therapy in both individual and group settings
• Engage with teachers and parents to support student progress and carryover of skills
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Offer staff in-service training and participate in professional development activities as needed
