As an Infant Teacher, you will work with small groups of 5-10 infants aged 0-12 months, delivering a creative curriculum tailored to early development stages. This role combines both teaching and caregiving responsibilities to support each child's growth in a safe, nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons for infants aged 0-12 months
- Manage the classroom environment to ensure safety and engagement
- Conduct ongoing child assessments and observation reporting
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding child progress and needs
- Develop and adapt curriculum to meet infants' developmental milestones
- Monitor safety and caregiving needs throughout the day
- Facilitate activities that promote sensory and cognitive skills
- Guide infant behavior with patience and positive reinforcement
- Collaborate with team members to enhance program quality
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in early childhood education
- Child Development Association Certificate or higher
- Knowledge of child development and lesson planning
- Skills in classroom management and parent communication
- Proficient in observation and assessment techniques
- Experience with behavior management and safety compliance
- Strong teamwork abilities
- Patience and creativity in engaging infants
