Part Time - Spanish Instructor Job Title: Part Time - Spanish Instructor Location: Woodland Community College – Colusa County Campus, Williams, CA Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION :

Develop and deliver instructional lectures for Spanish courses up to 10 hours/week Organize and teach all levels of Spanish classes Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning Teach day, evening, and/or weekend assignments, including distance learning and accelerated courses Assess Student Learning Outcomes each semester Participate in department, division, and college-wide initiatives and committees if desired Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students Required Qualifications Master’s degree in the language taught, or Bachelor’s degree in the language taught AND a Master’s degree in Linguistics, or equivalent Demonstrated sensitivity to diverse student backgrounds (as above) Preferred Qualifications Preference may be given to candidates with experience in life or teaching that demonstrates clear ability to teach Spanish to community college students Physical Demands Range/Step Class I - VII (Based on degree and teaching experience).
