Job Details Location: Nashville, TN 37203 Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor & Delivery / Obstetric Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: September 21, 2026 Shift: 12-hour nights Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 - $1,650 Setting: On-site women’s and children’s unit Schedule Highlights: 3 weekend shifts and 1 call shift Job Requirements Active RN license Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience Current BLS certification Current ACLS certification Current NRP certification AWHONN Intermediate certification or CEFM required Experience caring for laboring patients and newborns immediately after delivery Experience circulating and recovering C-section patients Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring patients and their newborns Support vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C procedures, cerclage, and tub labor Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond promptly to clinical changes Assist with immediate newborn care following delivery Circulate and recover C-section patients as needed Collaborate with physicians, techs, and unit support staff to maintain a smooth workflow Document accurately using unit-based charting systems Float first when needed per unit policy Promote a positive patient experience through shared decision-making and attentive communication Why Apply for This Nashville Nursing Job?
