UX Designer

Job Summary:
The Intermediate UX Designer will create user-friendly, visually appealing interfaces and design overall product functionality to ensure excellent user experiences. This role involves iterative design based on user testing, user research, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver responsive digital products optimized for multiple devices. Responsibilities:
- Create effective, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces.
- Design overall product functionality to ensure a great user experience and iterate based on user testing.
- Design user interfaces for digital displays, publications, media, and other creative materials.
- Take a user-centered design approach, rapidly test, and iterate designs.
- Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys; translate findings into sitemaps, user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Facilitate client product vision by researching, sketching, prototyping, and user-testing digital product experiences.
- Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
- Gather user feedback to configure and improve existing interfaces.
- Manage competing priorities and maintain client relationships.
- 3+ years of experience in UX design, interactive design, or UI design for web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency with UX design software such as Figma, JustInMind, InVision, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, Axure, and Zeplin.
- Strong understanding of mobile-first and responsive design principles.
- Experience with user-centered design processes and Agile (SCRUM) methodologies.
- Ability to iterate designs efficiently and intelligently.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree or diploma in graphic design or related field; certification in usability, human-computer interaction, or technical writing is a plus.
- Experience facilitating user research and usability testing activities.
- Portfolio demonstrating UX design expertise (must be accessible without password or attached).
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or NodeJS.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Service Design frameworks and established design systems.
- Accessibility compliance testing experience.
- Experience in OPS or public sector projects.
- Familiarity with DABL (Discovery, Alpha, Beta, Live) methodology.
- Must provide a portfolio link accessible without a password or attach portfolio with the resume.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills required for working in distributed teams.
- Ability to lead meetings and present design solutions to stakeholders.
- Candidate must be able to manage deadlines and competing priorities effectively.
- Requires 5 days onsite presence.
- Work schedule aligned with project deadlines and Agile delivery cycles.
