MUST BE A US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER RELOCATION ASSISTANCE WITHIN THE UNITED STATES IS AVAILABLE The Safety Manager leads site safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and government regulations. This role develops and implements safety programs, conducts training, and fosters a proactive safety culture. Some of the Responsibilities of the Safety Manager include: Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Lead and manage safety initiatives, incident investigations, and corrective actions. Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and hazard analyses. Develop and implement safety policies and training programs. Monitor safety data trends and drive continuous improvements. Manage workers’ compensation claims and case management. Coordinate and facilitate safety meetings and training. Oversee safety documentation, reports, and compliance tracking. Support initiatives such as VPP, Contractor Safety Management, and Industrial First Aid. Some of the Qualifications/Requirements of the Safety Manager include: Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field. 5+ years of occupational health and safety experience in an industrial setting. SMS, GSP, ASP, or CSP certification required. First Aid/CPR/AED and OSHA 10/30 certification preferred. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
