Medical Assistant Position Details

• Schedule: 5x8-Hour Days
• Shift: 8-hour shift 8:00 AM and 17:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (MA) to support clinical operations in an outpatient healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on clinical skills, experience with venipuncture , and proficiency with Epic EMR .

• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience, with at least 1 year of recent outpatient experience.
• Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program REQUIRED.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC only REQUIRED.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current Flu Vaccine REQUIRED. No exemptions or declinations accepted.
• Venipuncture experience REQUIRED.
• Epic EMR experience REQUIRED.
• Strong patient care, communication, and clinical support skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs and clinical information.
• Perform venipuncture and blood/lab specimen collection according to established protocols.
• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and routine clinical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and clinical supplies.
• Accurately document patient information and clinical activities in Epic .
• Provide patient education and communicate instructions clearly.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and patient privacy standards.
• Support overall patient flow and daily clinic operations.
• Perform other clinical duties as assigned.
