CNC MachinistLocation: Holland, MI Shift: 3rd Shift, Sunday – ThursdayAbout the RoleWe are seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join our 3rd shift team in Holland, MI. This is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside our Skilled Trades, Applications, Controls, and Mechanical Engineering teams to design, build, program, and deploy custom automated equipment and solutions for a wide range of industrial customers.Candidates with CAM programming experience are highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machine tools, primarily vertical mills (Mazak, Hurco) — you will typically be assigned a dedicated machine to run dailyRead and interpret blueprints to machine metallic and non-metallic parts to precise print tolerancesImport CAD data and utilize FeatureCAM software to program CNC machining centersCalculate and adjust feeds and speeds to optimize cutting conditions and machining performancePerform routine preventive maintenance (PM) on assigned equipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with shop housekeeping standardsClearly and proactively communicate any potential quality concerns to management before they become production issuesCollaborate with engineering and controls teams to support the build of custom automated equipmentQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required2–5 years of experience setting up and operating CNC machining centersExperience programming with CAM software (FeatureCAM preferred, but experience with other CAM platforms will be considered)Strong blueprint reading skills and the ability to hold tight tolerancesJourneyman Machinist certification preferred but not requiredComfortable working independently with minimal supervision on a 3rd shift scheduleStrong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
