Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required within the last 15 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current Med Surg / Medical Surgical experience. - At least 1 travel contract completed within previous 15 months. - Proficient transplant care experience required. - Strong renal experience required. - Strong urology experience required.

Unit Details: - General med surg including renal, transplant, and urology patients.

Shift & Scheduling: - No call. - Every 3rd weekend. - Unless the unit is closed, required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).

Floating Requirements: - Required to float across campuses to like units: MWH, ILH, IMMC.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
