Orthodontic Assistant

Location: Montgomery, AL Schedule: Full-Time | 35-40 hours per week We are looking for an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team in Montgomery, AL! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has hands-on orthodontic assisting experience. What You'll Do Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments and procedures Prepare patients and treatment areas for orthodontic procedures Assist with bonding, debonding, wire changes, adjustments, and other orthodontic procedures Provide patients and parents with instructions on appliances, retainers, elastics, and at-home care Sterilize instruments and maintain clean, organized treatment areas Accurately document treatment and patient information Help maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day Provide a friendly, positive experience for our patients and families Support the clinical and Admin team wherever needed What We're Looking For Previous orthodontic assisting experience is required Dental assisting experience in a busy clinical environment Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, terminology, instruments, and infection-control protocols Strong communication and patient-service skills Dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team Comfortable working with children and families Current certifications required by the State of Alabama, as applicable Schedule Full-time position Approximately 35-40 hours per week Schedule may vary based on patient and practice needs Why Join Us?
