COMPASS Content Specialist (Afterschool Program)

Position: Content Specialist, COMPASS Top of FormAbout the PositionThe full-time on-site Content Specialist will be responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day programming at Afterschool Program. The Content Specialist will focus on quality and delivery of services as well as coaching and development of Team Leaders and Instructors.Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesDirectly coach and develop Team LeadersSupervise and manage the flow of the day for after-school, and Summer RisingEnsure the health, safety and well-being of program participants by providing supervision of activitiesAssist in identifying and implementing engaging enrichment programsLead engaging, age-appropriate instruction in one designated content area that produces final project and/or culminating eventComplete accurate program documentation as needed (DYCD Connect, attendance, sign in/out forms, behavior reports, incident reports)Work with the Director to secure and maintain all equipment and supplies neededUnderstand and communicate the Graham Pillars and the goals of the Afterschool Program to participants and caregiversBuild trusting relationships with parents and guardians through regular communicationQualificationsBachelor’s DegreeAt least five (5) years of experience and three (3) as a supervisorPrevious experience supervising children less than 13 years of ageMeet the state licensing requirements for a director of a child care centerDemonstrated understanding of child and youth development principlesDemonstrated understanding of how to create and manage programming for multiple stakeholders including children and adultsStrong written and verbal communication skillsPractical and strong decision making skillsDemonstrated ability to lead, coach and motivate a teamBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredSalary & BenefitsSalary: $62,000 annuallyGraham Windham offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and vision insurance403(b) retirement planGenerous paid time off and holidaysProfessional development and coaching opportunities through BravelyEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Flexible hybrid work environmentPerformance-based merit increases #J-18808-Ljbffr Graham Windham
