- Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering relevant diagnostics, and creating personalized treatment plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses in partnership with physicians or independently (depending on your credentials)
- Guiding patients and families on prevention, wellness, and effective disease management

- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
- Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Kansas
- National recognition as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within three months)
