Role Description The Human Resources Specialist is a part-time, on-site role located in Westminster, MD. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including administering employee benefits, maintaining personnel records, and ensuring consistent application of HR policies and procedures. The specialist will assist in recruitment and onboarding processes, coordinate employee training and development activities, and respond to employee inquiries on HR-related matters. Additional responsibilities include supporting performance management processes, assisting with compliance and reporting requirements, and collaborating with management to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Qualifications Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) practices and HR Management, with experience supporting daily HR operations. Knowledge of HR Policies and compliance requirements, including Federal and state employment regulations. Experience with Employee Benefits administration and enrollment processes. Skills in Personnel Management, including maintaining accurate employee records and supporting performance management activities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build effective working relationships. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus. Prior experience as an HR Specialist or in a similar HR role, preferably in government contracting or technology services environments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
