Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in the Operating Room. This position involves supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety during procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare patients and assist during operative procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes.
• Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Document all clinical interventions accurately in patient records.
• Provide post-operative care and patient education.
• Respond to call needs and support 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM shifts.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current RN License with at least 2+ years of OR experience.
• Proven ability to work effectively in surgical and sterile environments.
• Strong knowledge of operating room procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and prioritize tasks.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including call rotations.
