This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting and keeping production equipment running safely and reliably.Job SummaryThe Maintenance Technician will perform preventive maintenance, respond to equipment breakdowns, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues. This position works closely with production and the maintenance team to reduce downtime and keep equipment operating efficiently.Position Type: Temp-to-hireSchedule: 1st shift; overtime, weekends, or on-call work may be required based on business needsPay: $28–$32 per hour, based on experienceWhat You’ll DoPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, minor electrical issues, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic automation equipment.Respond to breakdowns and production maintenance requests.Assist with equipment installations, changeovers, and upgrades.Complete work orders and document repairs and parts used in a maintenance system.Follow safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, and help identify recurring equipment issues.QualificationsIndustrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred; 1–3 years is ideal.Working knowledge of mechanical systems, basic electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, and hydraulics.Ability to read equipment manuals and basic mechanical and electrical schematics.Strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safe work practices.High school diploma or GED required; technical training or a trade school education is a plus.Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.Physical RequirementsThis position involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working around moving equipment. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment that may include heat, dust, and noise.
